Senior GenAI Adoption and Solutions Lead
Function: GenAI Adoption, AI Solutions Enablement, Change Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Government Technology Support
Location: Remote, with ability to attend customer meetings in Chantilly, Virginia as needed
Reports to: GenAI Program Lead, Program Technical Lead, or Workforce 3 Engineering Leadership
Position Summary
BCG Federal is seeking a Senior GenAI Adoption and Solutions Lead to support artificial intelligence and Generative AI initiatives across government programs. This is a senior stakeholder-facing role responsible for driving discovery, adoption, change management, user engagement, communications, training, and operational implementation of AI-enabled solutions.
This role is not primarily a software development or coding role. The successful candidate must have enough practical understanding of Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI assistants, workflow automation, data-driven use cases, and government technology environments to understand what technical teams are building, translate user needs into actionable requirements, and communicate solution value to non-technical stakeholders.
The Senior GenAI Adoption and Solutions Lead will serve as the primary point person between government users, contractor teams, BCG leadership, BCG X personnel, data scientists, AI prompt engineers, and technical delivery teams. This individual will run discovery meetings, determine when follow-up meetings are needed, organize stakeholders, capture requirements, clarify the actual operational ask, track next steps, support change management, and help ensure AI solutions are adopted by real users.
The ideal candidate is articulate, confident, organized, outgoing, and comfortable leading meetings with senior government and contractor stakeholders. They must be able to speak intelligently about AI-enabled tools such as meeting summarizers, document-generation workflows, test-case generators, risk and issue reporting tools, no-code agent builders, prompt libraries, and human-in-the-loop AI workflows. They do not need to personally build every solution, but they must understand the solutions well enough to explain them, train users, gather feedback, and translate user needs back to the technical team.
This role supports the same AI solution ecosystem as the Senior AI Prompt Engineer and AI/ML Solutions Developer, but with a different emphasis. The Senior AI Prompt Engineer builds and refines the technical solutions. The Senior GenAI Adoption and Solutions Lead drives the user-facing process, discovery, communication, training, adoption, and change management required to make those solutions successful.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary stakeholder-facing lead for GenAI and AI-enabled solution adoption across government program use cases.
- Lead discovery meetings with government users, contractor teams, BCG leadership, BCG X personnel, data scientists, AI prompt engineers, and technical teams.
- Determine when meetings are needed, schedule the right stakeholders, set meeting agendas, facilitate discussions, summarize outcomes, and drive follow-up actions.
- Translate user needs, operational pain points, and meeting discussions into clear solution requirements, use case definitions, next steps, and technical direction for AI solution builders.
- Work closely with senior AI prompt engineers, data scientists, BCG X personnel, and technical teams to ensure that developed solutions align with the original user ask and operational need.
- Support AI use cases such as meeting summarization, document generation, research synthesis, exposure-code workflows, Zephyr/Jira test-case generation, risk and issue reporting, AI image-generation prompting, no-code agents, prompt reuse, and workflow automation.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, live demos, user walkthroughs, office hours, how-to guides, newsletters, and adoption materials for GenAI tools and AI-enabled workflows.
- Explain AI solutions to non-technical users in practical terms: what the tool does, how to use it, what problem it solves, where human review is required, and what limitations users must understand.
- Lead change management activities for AI adoption, including user outreach, stakeholder alignment, communications planning, training schedules, feedback collection, adoption tracking, and sustainment planning.
- Draft polished communications, including weekly updates, leadership summaries, user announcements, training invitations, adoption guidance, solution spotlights, and practical AI usage instructions.
- Capture and maintain action items, decision points, risks, blockers, user feedback, technical questions, and adoption issues across GenAI initiatives.
- Help convert ambiguous user requests into structured discovery sessions, solution concepts, implementation plans, and practical next steps.
- Serve as the bridge between technical AI teams and operational government users by translating technical feedback into plain language and translating user feedback into actionable requirements.
- Support responsible AI adoption by reinforcing source grounding, human review, hallucination mitigation, quality control, confidence calibration, and appropriate use of AI outputs.
- Identify adoption risks, user confusion, process gaps, training needs, or workflow barriers that may prevent successful use of AI tools.
- Partner with technical teams to test early prototypes from a user perspective and provide feedback on usability, clarity, workflow fit, and adoption readiness.
- Support program leadership by preparing executive updates, meeting briefs, status summaries, adoption metrics, and practical recommendations.
- Maintain a professional, confident, and credible presence in meetings with senior government stakeholders, BCG leadership, technical teams, and end users.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, information systems, data analytics, computer science, public administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Senior-level experience supporting technology adoption, AI enablement, digital transformation, change management, product adoption, stakeholder engagement, program management, or government technology initiatives.
- Practical working knowledge of Generative AI tools, prompt engineering concepts, AI assistants, no-code / low-code automation, workflow automation, and AI-enabled business process improvement.
- Ability to understand and discuss AI-enabled use cases such as meeting summarization, document generation, test-case generation, research synthesis, risk reporting, prompt libraries, and agent-based workflows.
- Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead discovery meetings, manage discussion flow, clarify requirements, identify decision points, and drive follow-up actions.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and summarize complex discussions for leadership.
- Strong writing skills, including experience drafting polished emails, newsletters, meeting summaries, training materials, user guidance, leadership updates, and adoption communications.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter, organize ambiguous work, identify next steps, coordinate stakeholders, and move initiatives forward without heavy direction.
- Ability to work effectively with senior government stakeholders, contractor personnel, technical teams, data scientists, AI engineers, and program leadership.
- Experience supporting change management, user adoption, training delivery, communications, stakeholder engagement, or implementation of new tools or workflows.
- Ability to translate operational user needs into clear requirements for technical teams and translate technical feedback into practical guidance for users.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including human-in-the-loop review, source grounding, hallucination risk, output validation, transparency, and limitations of AI systems.
- Experience supporting government clients, healthcare environments, defense environments, or regulated systems preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to attend customer meetings in Chantilly, Virginia as needed.

- Experience supporting Generative AI adoption, AI pilot programs, digital transformation, automation initiatives, or emerging technology rollouts.
- Experience with GenAI.mil, Ask Sage, Google Gemini, Gemini Agent Designer, Ask Sage Agent Builder, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar AI and automation tools.
- Experience developing or delivering training, demos, office hours, user guides, newsletters, adoption campaigns, or change management communications for technical tools.
- Experience supporting federal government programs, military health, defense health, healthcare IT, or other mission-focused government environments.
- Experience working directly with data scientists, AI engineers, prompt engineers, product managers, or technical delivery teams.
- Experience facilitating meetings with senior stakeholders, technical SMEs, government users, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, product discovery, user research, requirements gathering, workflow mapping, or solution adoption.
- Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, risk and issue reporting, document automation, meeting transcription, operational reporting, or federal program management workflows.
