
Postpartum Support International (PSI) works to promote awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing. PSI supports families, provides expert training to providers, and creates a bridge between families and informed resources. PSI disseminates information and resources through its volunteers, website, training, chapters, and annual conference. PSI board and staff are dedicated and passionate individuals committed to alleviating distress and improving outcomes for pregnant and postpartum families. PSI headquarters is in Portland, Oregon, but the position is entirely remote. PSI additionally operates the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline, a 24/7 hotline federally funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
The IT/Technical Support Specialist provides essential maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting for applications utilized in delivering National Maternal Mental Health Hotline services. Collaborating with internal teams, the Specialist identifies issues and implements prompt resolutions. This role acts as a project coordinator for technology enhancements and upgrades, while offering continuous training and guidance to Hotline personnel. Responsibilities encompass the implementation, optimization, and management of technical systems for the hotline, webinars, learning management platforms, provider directories, and telephony infrastructure.
IT/Technical Support Specialists deliver hardware and software assistance to NMMHH counselors, working in tandem with team members to resolve issues via remote and telephonic support. This position involves reviewing operational workflows and providing technical expertise to mitigate business technology challenges. In this capacity, you maintain critical infrastructure and provide ongoing support to hotline operators, ensuring systems function efficiently. Your technical proficiency is vital to maintaining smooth hotline operations, enabling our team to provide high-quality assistance to those seeking help.
This is a fully remote position. The pay for this position is $27.50 an hour.
The schedule totals 20 hours per week. Monday - Friday - 2:00 AM - 6:00 AM EST.

While this role is predominantly remote, travel and in-person meeting attendance are required up to two times per year for internal PSI meetings, and as needed for contractually essential stakeholder engagements (estimated at most twice per year).
