Anthropic's Global Safety, Intelligence, and Security (GSIS) organization is seeking a highly experienced Physical Security Design Lead and Contract Document Specialist to join the Global Design Engineering Construction (DEC) team. In this role you will author and continuously enhance the contract document basis of design (BOD) and the reusable design templates (drawings, specifications, schedules, and ancillary documents) that drive the consistency and quality of contract documents across Anthropic's global office facility build program. You will serve as the technical authority for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems within the contract document set, working in close partnership with GSIS partners, Real Estate / Workplace, the Network Team, and other cross-functional stakeholders. You will gather lessons from every phase of the project lifecycle, from site/risk assessment through construction, handover, and post-occupancy audits and incident reports, and feed them back into the design documentation, using automations and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate the pace of documentation updates.

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:$180,000—$230,000 USDMinimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
