Estimating & Operations Assistant

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be: ● Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy ● Comfortable working with numbers, measurements and spreadsheets ● Confident reading and interpreting floor plans or technical drawings ● Experienced with Microsoft Excel ● Comfortable learning new software and processes ● Organised and able to manage multiple tasks ● Proactive and capable of identifying ways to improve processes ● Reliable and able to work independently ● A strong communicator with good written and verbal English ● Comfortable working towards clear turnaround-time expectations ● Willing to learn a specialised estimating process and take increasing ownership overtime

Previous Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial: ● Window treatments, blinds, shades or drapery ● Construction or interior design ● Estimating or quoting ● Architectural or construction floor plans ● Project coordination ● Administrative or operations support ● Working with measurements and pricing ● Home automation Industry experience is not essential, provided you have strong attention to detail, are comfortable working with spreadsheets and technical information, and can learn the company's processes quickly.

Software
The company currently uses: ● Microsoft Excel ● Coda / Superhuman Docs ● Wave Invoicing ● Microsoft Office / Office Suite Previous experience with these platforms is advantageous, but the ability to learn new systems is more important.
