From empowering entrepreneurs to build successful businesses, to supporting their clients to arrange 'me time' moments, we're in the business of elevating people - helping them to thrive and feel fantastic. Lifting others up can be hard, heavy work, and we passionately believe that the sense of purpose and personal satisfaction this brings are worth it.

What started in Poland is now an international, cloud-based marketplace that's scaling rapidly. We bring independent business owners together with their customers on a product that connects creative communities and opens up worlds of opportunities.

For our providers, our products offer services for getting booked, paid, and building a loyal client base. For their clients, we're where they can find their favourite spots, discover new businesses and book appointments in an instant.

Working in a rapidly growing, ever-changing scale-up comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. If you prefer a stable environment, with clear processes and structures then, we've got to be honest, you won't always find that here. However, if you enjoy inventively solving problems with others, helping create clarity when things get confusing, and prioritising your own path within ambiguity, then the chances are that you'll love the opportunities available to grow your career at Booksy.

Requirements

The people you'll like to work with and things you'll enjoy impacting:
We’re evolving our engineering culture so every developer learns to build with modern, agentic workflows, eliminating the repetitive friction so we can solve harder, more interesting problems together. You’ll be the person building the tools, establishing the practices, and coaching our team into the next era of software engineering.

As a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager, your purpose will be to help make the team AI native: half your time building the agentic workflows, tools and guardrails we ship with, half shipping product with them yourself.

Design how a ticket moves from idea to merged code, with agents doing almost all of the implementation
Build our coding and review agents, MCP integrations, CI hooks and shared skills library
Set up review gates and evaluations so agent output meets the same quality and security bar as human work
Own the web side of our product in Vue and represent the team in the Web Developers Guild
Coach engineers and share what works with other teams to help everyone adopt and master new AI-driven ways of working

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need…

Hands-on experience building AI developer tooling others use: agent skills or rules, MCP servers, custom agents or AI steps in CI
Senior-level experience shipping production software, with solid web development in JavaScript or TypeScript
Daily use of coding agents on production work, and a clear view of where they fail and how to catch it
Sound architecture judgement and the ability to change how other engineers work through coaching, curiosity, and practical enablement
At a minimum we require conversational level English language skills. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy.

It will also help you to have…

Production experience with Vue
Python backend, iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience
A track record of leading a change in engineering practice across more than one team

How to stand out: show us something you built, such as skills or MCP servers you wrote, or an agentic workflow you introduced and what changed.
