Field Sales Manager - Convenience, Food-Service, and Non-Traditional Retail

The Company:

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

The Role:

We are seeking a Field Sales Manager to help accelerate David’s growth across Convenience, Food-Service, and Non-Traditional Retail.

This is a travel-heavy, field-based role, with 4+ days a week on the road or in the field visiting customers, meeting with distributors and brokers, attending trade shows, and developing new business. You will lead David’s Sports Nutrition business and own a portfolio of regional accounts, expanding distribution, and building strong customer relationships. You will work closely with the broader sales team to drive growth across priority channels.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly proactive, energized by travel and in-person selling, and comfortable taking ownership and operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Bring customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights back to the team to inform priorities and identify new opportunities

• Represent David at national industry conferences and association events, extending brand visibility beyond the regional trade show circuit
• Represent David professionally in the market, building relationships with prospective and existing customers and identifying new accounts, partnerships, and growth opportunities

Sports Nutrition & Distribution

• Own the day-to-day management and P&L of David’s Sports Nutrition business, with responsibility for driving revenue, distribution, and profitability across the channel
• Build and manage relationships with key Sports Nutrition distributors and retail partners, serving as the primary point of contact and leading regular business reviews, sales planning, and promotional opportunities
• Analyze distribution, promotional, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase distribution, placements, velocity, and overall revenue in partnership with the broader sales team
• Monitor distribution performance and address gaps in availability, placement, and execution while partnering with distributor field teams to drive new placements and sell-through
