Teacher Online Learning Manager - Latin America

Location:  Anywhere in Latin America where Edify has operations        

Start Date:  1st November 2026

Reports To:  VP of Christ-Centered Education, with matrix management to the Regional Vice President of Central American Programs

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and education and competitive with other non-profits.

Position Summary:

Edify promotes holistic and high-quality Christ-centered education in partnership with low-fee independent
Christ-centered schools. The role of the Teacher Online Learning Manager will be initially focused on
overseeing the rollout of Edify Academy, supporting the onboarding of teachers and leaders in operational
and pilot countries, and leading the development of significant program improvements in the areas of
curriculum, assessment, online delivery, in-person mentoring/facilitation, and monitoring and evaluation in
the LATAM region. Once Edify Academy is well established within the region, the Teacher Online Learning
Manager will also be responsible for supporting other teacher training programs offered by Edify in their
region and incorporate lessons from Edify Academy into these other programs. The role of the Teacher
Online Learning Manager is a full-time position.

Work Environment

This position will be full-time based in Latin America, reporting to the Vice President of Christ
Centered Education. There will also be collaboration with Country Directors and regional teams. The
atmosphere of Edify is one where you can expect to perform widely varied tasks related to the role.

The Online Manager must familiarize him/herself with Edify’s Global strategy and will be responsible for
supervising all Program Coordinators in any operational countries in the LATAM region that are
implementing Edify Academy.

Travel Expectation

The position includes significant travel throughout the Latin American Region in operational and associate countries. In addition to regional travel, Edify holds an annual all-staff meeting, alternating in a US-based or international location each year. Travel would be required to attend this meeting.

Qualifications

• Curriculum development experience, including knowledge of how to integrate a biblical worldview
  into curriculum and learning experiences
• Experience with online course delivery (knowledge of TalentLMS platform is an added advantage
  since this is the global platform Edify uses)
• Understanding of how to use Artificial Intelligence to enhance learning.
• Experience in a classroom environment and understanding of teachers’ needs and challenges
• Excellent writing skills
• Cross-cultural leadership and communication skills

Deliverables

• Curriculum revisions as needed, including
  • Integration of a biblical worldview into course content
  • Incorporation of user feedback to enhance lesson quality
  • Update of assessments, as needed, to ensure higher-level learning is occurring
  • Improvement of the course flow and simplifying content where possible
  • Use of proprietary LMS to add updates to the course as needed
• Ensuring that teachers are engaged based on reports and data from in-country Program
  Coordinators; troubleshooting with program coordinators (completion rate percentage targets
  [min. 80% completion], final module/course scores to check for quality of engagement, identifying
  biggest barriers to completion and finding solutions with Program Coordinators).
• Registration and onboarding setup (annually and when a new country launches); documentation
  from David/Bill on how this was done in one country so that it can be replicated in other countries.
• Set up communication channels (annually and when a new country launches); documentation from

• Train new Program Coordinators using documentation/protocols provided, including in the areas of
  marking, monitoring and evaluation, and communication with program participants.
• Manage current Program Coordinators using documentation/protocols provided, including weekly
  review meetings, marking quality, incorporation of user feedback, and touchpoints with program
  participants.
• Synthesize key learning and accomplishment on a quarterly basis.

Reports to: VP of Christ-Centered Education, with matrix management reporting to the Vice President of Central American Programs.

Supervises: All Program Coordinators in countries implementing online teacher training programs run by
Edify in the region.
