Geotab is seeking a Senior Business Affairs Manager who will focus on the drafting, negotiation, and execution of revenue impacting agreements, managing larger, more complex agreements tied to strategic partners and/or customers with the largest revenue opportunity. What you'll do:

As a Senior Business Affairs Manager your key area of responsibility will be in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of revenue impacting agreements. You will need to work closely with sales, operations and legal, as well as other internal departments and external partners. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communications skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple competing priorities. 

How you'll make an impact:

• Document business principles for an opportunity and facilitate the movement of the opportunity through the contract review process.
• Draft complex multifaceted contract agreements and amendments.
• Review and validate documents/contracts to ensure that all parties involved in the agreement are accepting of the terms presented in the document/contract.
• Collaborate with Legal teams for contractual support.
• Manage and participate in projects related to the management and compliance activities related to revenue impacting contracts.
• Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and highlight or pre-empt areas of weakness or action that are needed to alleviate future roadblocks.
• Provide document status reports detailing expected delivery time-frames and key challenges.
• Read and review contract agreements appropriately and assess potential risks.
• Leverage a variety of AI tools to fulfill job duties.
• Be a sought after subject matter expert in certain contracting vehicles.
• Contribute to mentoring of new employees; May supervise interns. 

What you'll bring to the role:

• 8+ years of experience in contracting drafting, negotiation and management.
• Ability to lead meetings, and presentations.
• Ability to lead highly complex projects and contract negotiations.
• Serve as a strategic partner to internal clients.
• A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Experience with CRM and other tools (e.g. Salesforce, JIRA, Lucid Charts, SpotDraft).
• Extensive experience using AI tools to complete tasks, create efficiencies, develop workflows and other skills.
• Ability to read and review contract agreements appropriately and access risk.
• Experience in the sales and or sales support would be considered an asset.
• Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
• Responsiveness outside core hours may be needed during critical periods.
• Ability to travel. A passport is required.

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change. Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.

Hiring Range$116,200—$155,000 CAD
