Head of Sales - Microsoft Technology Consulting Services

Accountabilities
The Head of Sales will lead the sales strategy and execution for Microsoft technology consulting services and custom software solutions. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the sales organization, optimizing sales processes, and developing a culture of high performance through coaching and strategic leadership. Own overall sales performance, including pipeline development, revenue generation, forecasting, and achievement of business targets. Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team to improve performance, consistency, and consultative selling capabilities. Create and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and market opportunities. Manage and optimize existing sales processes, CRM usage, and sales tools to improve efficiency and visibility. Leverage proven methodologies while continuously improving sales playbooks and operational approaches. Drive complex B2B sales engagements by understanding client challenges and designing tailored technology solutions. Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to support long-term growth. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities. Provide leadership, accountability, and strategic direction while operating with a high degree of autonomy. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in technology consulting, Microsoft solutions, and complex B2B services sales. They should have a proven record of building successful teams, exceeding revenue goals, and leading consultative sales organizations. Demonstrated experience as a sales leader with ownership of revenue targets and business growth. Proven success selling complex technical services, consulting solutions, or enterprise technology offerings. Strong expertise in consultative selling approaches and the ability to coach teams on effective sales techniques. Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams of 3–10+ members. Ability to operate independently, translate strategy into execution, and deliver measurable outcomes. Experience with Microsoft technology ecosystems, including Power Platform, legacy modernization, and Microsoft 365 solutions. SaaS or software sales experience is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant ownership and accountability. Willingness to travel as required for client and business needs. Benefits: Competitive base salary of $130,000–$150,000.
