Creative Growth Hacker (Paid, Social, Organic)

ABOUT LAYER

Layer is the AI creative platform for games, entertainment brands and apps. Studios, brands, app publishers, UA teams and agencies use Layer to make on-brand video ads, playables and static creatives, with 400+ models and best-in-class AI agents. Our customers include Take-Two, Zynga, King, SciPlay and 300+ other studios who use Layer every day to power their games and marketing campaigns.

THE ROLE

If you're the kind of person who sees a new model drop at midnight and ships a test with it by breakfast, this is the role for you. You'll build Layer's growth machine: an AI-run engine across paid, social and organic that spots angles, makes creatives with Layer's own tools, launches tests, reads results and moves budget. You set the rules and review the exceptions, so UA managers, marketers, agencies and AI artists see why Layer is their creative platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build the machine that runs itself: design agent-run workflows that watch model releases, trends and competitor ads, draft angles, generate creatives in Layer and launch tests, wired together with Claude, Grok, n8n or Zapier, the Meta and TikTok APIs, Attio, PostHog and your own code.

- Run paid acquisition on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and X, with a weekly creative testing engine that kills losers fast and scales winners.

- Launch creator-led paid campaigns with our Creator Network members and their audiences.

- Own tracking and attribution: UTMs, pixels, conversion events, from ad click to sign-up to first purchase.

- Co-run Layer's social channels with a weekly calendar built from releases, and find viral angles for new models within hours of launch.

- Drive organic growth through SEO, AEO (how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity describe Layer) and activation and lifecycle emails with product.

- Grow the Partner and referral program alongside our Community Manager.

- Run a weekly growth review: what the machine tested, what moved, what to automate next.

YOU'LL FIT IF YOU

- Have 3–6 years in growth, performance or creative marketing at a PLG, AI, gaming, consumer app, entertainment or adtech company.

- Have run paid social programs with real budgets and can show the results.

- Are hands-on with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and product analytics (we use PostHog).

- Understand UA: CPI, ROAS, IPM, creative fatigue and why playables win.

- Try new models the day they drop and know the difference between Veo, Kling and Seedance outputs.

- Can name this week's hot game or app ad and explain why it works.

- Have creative chops: you write the hook, cut the video and prompt the visual yourself.

- Think in systems: anything you do by hand twice becomes an agent, a template or a script.

OTHER TRAITS WE LOOK FOR IN EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES

- Your own audience: a following on X, LinkedIn, YouTube or TikTok in AI, games or ads.

- Studio or agency roots: you've worked at a mobile game studio, consumer app, entertainment brand, UA agency or adtech company.

- An international team: Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese or Korean for regional campaigns? This is the team for you.

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway and show us what you've built.

IN THREE MONTHS

- Week 2: First AI-made creatives and paid tests live on 2 channels; weekly content calendar running.

- Month 1: Agent workflows running tests on their own, a winning channel with an early CAC read, and one breakout organic moment.

- Month 3: The machine runs most experiments end to end, with 2–3 scalable channels with known CAC and payback, self-serve MRR growing 25%+ month on month, and a documented growth playbook.

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive salary plus equity, a real budget and ownership reporting straight to a co-founder, unlimited access to Layer and every model in it, and a remote team that ships every day.

HOW TO APPLY

Skip the cover letter. Send links to your work (campaigns, posts, communities, AI art, agents you've built) and a 2-minute Loom on the last AI model you tried and what you made with it. The process is a 30-minute screen, a paid take-home, a conversation with the team and a paid 1–2 week trial.
