Impact & Why This Matters

In a world where too many students feel unseen, disconnected, or left behind—whether due to distance, circumstance, or doubt—you will be their consistent champion.

Every proactive outreach, personalized video feedback, and timely intervention has the power to restore belief, spark 'I can do this' moments, accelerate learning, and set a young person on a trajectory toward post-high school success, meaningful careers, and purposeful lives—whether through college, skilled trades, certifications, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, or other paths that align with their unique strengths and dreams.

This isn’t routine teaching. It's legacy-building in the digital age: redefining what’s possible in education by delivering white-glove, heart-centered support that reaches students anywhere and empowers them to own their futures—one empowered learner at a time.

Purpose

You will be the daily force that ignites curiosity, rebuilds confidence, and unlocks lifelong potential in every student. You will find ways to open doors for students. You will champion personalized success through relentless engagement, clear guidance, and unwavering belief—delivering transformative, white-glove service that changes trajectories for students and families alike.

This role sits at the intersection of instruction, compliance, and personalization —requiring both strong teaching ability and a deep commitment to the unique needs of each student. Your work will directly impact whether students stay on track, meet their goals, and experience success.

Role Overview

This is a deeply student-facing, relationship-driven role where your impact depends on consistent, individualized support. You’ll connect with students and families daily via phone, text, chat, Zoom, and email to accommodate individual educational needs.

Your success is measured not only by engagement and academic progress, but by meaningful movement toward IEP goals: students who re-engage after setbacks, build confidence through personalized support, make measurable progress, and gain the skills they need to become more independent learners.

It demands strong ownership, lightning responsiveness, sound judgment, and joyful persistence because when you show up fully, students feel seen, valued, and unstoppable.

Core Responsibilities

• Build unbreakable daily connections that keep students motivated, seen, and soaring, turning potential drop-offs into breakthroughs through caring, proactive outreach.
• Write, review, and maintain IEPs that accurately reflect each student’s needs, progress, and goals, ensuring all documentation is complete, compliant, and aligned to services and instruction.
• Personalize the educational experience for students using the curriculum to enable them achieve the goals documented in their IEPs.
• Monitor engagement and progress with eagle-eyed attention; spot struggling or disengaged students early and launch timely, personalized interventions and accommodations that reignite momentum.
• Coordinate with teachers to implement required accommodations and deliver timely grading and powerful, meaningful feedback that reinforces learning, celebrates growth, builds self-efficacy, and equips students to conquer challenges with confidence.

Essential Duties

1. Serve students, families, and colleagues with genuine professionalism, integrity, humility, and a white-glove mindset that makes every interaction feel personal and uplifting.
2. Own daily monitoring of student engagement and academic progress towards IEP goals; act swiftly and thoughtfully when support is needed most.
3. Foster genuine relationships through consistent, reliable, multi-channel communication that makes students and families feel supported all day, every school day.
4. Prepare for, schedule, and chair IEP meetings, contributing meaningful insight into student progress and needs.
5. Personalize instruction implementing student IEPs with accuracy and consistency, ensuring all services and supports are delivered as written with the clarity and encouragement that sparks deep student understanding and success.
6. Provide prompt, high-quality grading and feedback that inspires forward movement and long-term growth.
7. Demonstrate flexibility and organization in managing a caseload that may shift throughout the school year due to rolling enrollment and changing student needs.
8. Keep meticulously detailed, organized records to ensure nothing falls through the cracks and all state and federal Special Education requirements, timelines, and documentation standards are maintained.
9. Collaborate enthusiastically with peers, general education teachers, service providers, and leaders to build alignment, continuity of support and to ultimately amplify student success.
10. Engage fully in professional development, meetings, and training to continuously elevate your impact on the success of special education students.
11. Teach faithfully within the assigned curriculum, providing individualized support through live instruction, feedback, targeted intervention, and specialized adaptation of materials for diverse learners.
12. Support proctoring during testing windows, including occasional travel, to ensure fair and secure assessments.
13. Embrace other duties as needed to advance our mission.

2. Work full time in this exempt role, requiring at least 40 hours per week with uninterrupted focus during scheduled hours.
3. Remain actively available and immediately responsive throughout the workday via phone, chat, Zoom, email, and internal systems so students, parents, and colleagues can reach you in real time.
4. Avoid all concurrent work during scheduled hours and maintain full professional focus; ensure any outside employment does not interfere with performance and is approved in writing in advance.
5. Maintain a private, professional, distraction-free remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet that supports video and required tools.
