Founded in 2020, our client from Centennial Colorado, is a leading provider for archiving communication for regulated organizations. Most of their users are required to archive in industries such as finance, insurance, government, education, healthcare, and pharma.

They started when they found themselves in the same position as many of their new users. Their background is in the financial services industry – required by regulation to archive all communications.

About the Role

You'll build and execute communications and brand strategy across two parallel tracks: The client’s marketing and customer engagement, and the CEO's personal brand as the face of AI disrupting compliance. This is a one-person role architected as a scalable system — your job is not just to execute, but to design processes and leverage AI tools so that a larger team can eventually run this 10x bigger.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll own all outbound communications, build the CEO's visibility across multiple channels, and manage the infrastructure that turns every appearance (podcasts, articles, interviews) into owned-audience growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communications:

• Own all customer-facing and prospect communications: newsletters, indoctrination-phase email sequences, referral and review asks, social media presence
• Develop and manage the communications strategy that supports the full customer journey (landing engagement booking post-demo)
• Write or oversee content — blogs, social posts, email copy — using AI as a primary tool while maintaining brand voice, accuracy, and honesty
• Work with the CRO and the broader team to align messaging with sales and product changes

2. CEO's Personal Brand:

• Build the infrastructure and systems to establish the CEO as a recognized authority on AI disrupting compliance
• Manage the CEO's public appearances: maintain a roster of target podcasts, help coordinate podcast bookings (working with a publicist once hired), and ensure a regular cadence of appearances
• Curate, edit, and distribute content from the CEO's appearances across multiple channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others as they emerge)
• Receive raw content (podcast clips, interview footage, articles featuring the CEO), edit into short-form and long-form pieces, and post across platforms
• Manage posting schedules and track growth metrics across all channels
• Develop the CEO's messaging discipline and brand voice so he's consistent across  all interviews and appearances

3. Systems & Leverage:

• Build your own AI-assisted systems (using Claude, ChatGPT, or other tools) to act  as your multiplier — podcast research, calendar management, content organization, copywriting
• Think of AI as a key team member that helps you operate like a team of three, not one person
• Document processes and systems so that as the team grows, new hires can step in without starting from scratch

What Success Looks Like

• The Company: consistent, high-quality communications across all channels; measurable engagement on newsletters and social; smooth customer journey experience
• CEO's Brand: steady growth in followers across multiple platforms over 6–12 months; regular podcast appearances on compliance-focused and relevant shows; curated content that builds recognition without requiring him to post himself
• Systems: AI-assisted workflows that scale; clear documentation of how content flows from source to distribution
• Quality: all content (company and personal) maintains brand honesty — no invented claims, clear about where AI is helping and where humans decide

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in growth marketing, communications, demand generation, or a related field within a B2B SaaS company. (Non-negotiable)
• At least 3 years of experience developing and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies in an early-stage or high-growth startup, with a proven track record of building a repeatable pipeline that generates qualified opportunities.
• ·Proven experience owning the entire marketing funnel—from identifying and engaging Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to generating qualified demo bookings in partnership with Sales.
• Experience developing and executing account-based marketing (ABM), hyper-targeted, or niche marketing strategies focused on specific companies and decision-makers rather than broad, high-volume campaigns.
• Hands-on experience writing or overseeing content creation — blogs, emails, social, newsletters
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to increase productivity *without sacrificing quality or accuracy*
• Comfort with ambiguity and building systems from scratch; this is not a "follow a playbook" role
• Understanding that "good enough" and "perfect" are different things; you can ship fast and iterate
• Experience in a start-up environment is required.
• Has experience working with international clients, particularly from the US, UK, Australia, and/or New Zealand.
• Demonstrates initiative, strong conviction, high motivation, and clarity in decision-making and communication.

What We're Not Looking For

• Someone who's ideologically opposed to AI or thinks "AI should do everything" we're pragmatic about both
• Someone who needs a detailed playbook or daily direction
• Someone who sees social media as just "posting stuff" — this is strategy + execution

Advantageous but not required:

• Experience building a founder or personal brand (podcasts, interviews, clips, social growth)
• Marketing or comms for compliance, fintech, or regulated industries
