About the Role
France is a global market growth opportunity for Nerdio, and we are expanding our presence there. Partners play a strategic role in Nerdio’s go-to-market strategy in France, so success is built on deep partner relationships, trusted collaboration with Microsoft France, and a disciplined, relationship-led approach to enterprise sales.
As Country Manager, you are both the leader and the doer. You will personally own and close strategic enterprise accounts alongside our partners, while building and leading the France team and the partner ecosystem around it. You will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Sales, and act as the voice of France inside the global organization, and as the face of Nerdio to French customers, partners, and Microsoft.
Within the team, you will work alongside the Partner Development Manager and the Pre-Sales Lead, together with extended teams across EMEA, to deliver a single, coordinated go-to-market for customers and partners in France.
What You’ll Do
Lead the France Business and Team
- Build, hire, coach, and lead a high-performing France team, including Strategic Account Executives and technical and support talent.
- Translate company strategy into clear priorities, goals, and expectations for the team, and set a tight weekly and monthly operating cadence.
- Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture built on transparency, mutual respect, and accountability, while respecting French business norms.
- Bridge France and the global organization: represent local customer and partner needs to APJ, Product, and Marketing, and bring global priorities to the team in a way that lands locally.
Drive Enterprise Accounts and Customer Outcomes
- Personally own a named list of strategic enterprise accounts and a revenue target, leading the most important deals from first engagement to close.
- Build trusted relationships with CXO and senior stakeholders at French enterprises, positioning Nerdio as the automation and management layer that makes AVD, Windows 365, and Intune enterprise ready.
- Apply a structured methodology (MEDDPICC) to qualify, advance, and close deals, and navigate with patience and rigor.
- Create customer references and success stories in French and capture the migration opportunity from legacy VDI platforms such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
- Own forecasting, pipeline discipline, and Salesforce hygiene for the France business, using data to find and fix gaps in sales effectiveness.
Build and Scale the Partner Ecosystem
- Further enable and scale a high-performing partner ecosystem of distributors, resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers that drives predictable revenue, market coverage, and customer outcomes.
- Set joint business plans with key partners, run enablement and co-marketing, and hold partners accountable for pipeline and results.
- Work side by side with partner account teams on live customer opportunities, including opportunity registration and deal coordination.
- Build and nurture executive relationships with partner leadership, so Nerdio is a priority in their Microsoft cloud and EUC practice.
Co-sell with Microsoft France
- Build strong working relationships across Microsoft France’s local and regional teams, including GeoX and PDM engagement, to identify and co-sell AVD and Windows 365 opportunities.
- Align account plans, opportunity registration, and joint customer engagement with Microsoft sellers and partner teams.
Market Intelligence
- Stay current on the EUC, VDI, and Microsoft Modern Work landscape, including competitors and emerging technologies.
- Identify new segments and opportunities in France, and feed customer and partner feedback, including localization and support needs, to Product and Marketing.
- Represent Nerdio at customer and partner events across France.
Qualifications
Required
- 12+ years of sales and leadership experience in enterprise technology, selling cloud computing or SaaS solutions, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Proven leadership of sales teams, including remote or distributed teams, and the credibility to still close enterprise deals personally.
- Native or business-level French (written and spoken), and business-level English for collaboration with EMEA and global teams.
- Proven success in a partner-led or channel-first sales model, ideally including distributor management.
- Direct experience working with Microsoft France in a co-sell or partner capacity, with familiarity with
Microsoft partner programs and go-to-market structures.
- Strong understanding of EUC, VDI, or Modern Work technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune, or equivalent, and knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CXO and senior stakeholders, directly and through partners and alliances.
- Cultural fluency in French enterprise sales and long relationship development cycles.
- Strong sales process discipline and proficiency in Salesforce and pipeline management.
- Ability to use AI, preferably Claude, as a strategic business tool.
Preferred
- Experience building or scaling a business in France, such as an early hire or country lead at a product vendor or high-growth technology company.
- Existing relationships within Microsoft France’s STU, ATU, or partner organization.
- Experience across both distributor and reseller tiers of the France channel ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Citrix, VMware Horizon, or other legacy VDI platforms and the migration opportunity they represent.
