About the Role

The Senior Manager, Clinical Member Engagement Strategy is a senior individual contributor responsible for translating the Member Value Profile™ into personalized activation and adherence strategies that move identified members into sustained participation in clinical and population health programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will use member segmentation, risk factors, clinical needs and engagement signals to connect the right member to the right intervention at the right time.

This is a builder’s role and a new capability for One Pass. Serving as the operational bridge between the Member Value Profile™, Clinical Product, Marketing, Health Economics and activation teams, this individual will turn member insights into scalable engagement strategies across digital, physical and community-based channels. The role will initially support Medicare populations and One Pass clinical fitness programs, with the opportunity to expand across commercial, provider and future value-based population health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the engagement strategy behind the Member Value Profile™, translating member segmentation, risk factors, clinical needs and engagement signals into personalized activation and adherence journeys.

• Develop and continuously refine clinical member personas and targeting strategies across condition-specific programs, including Fall Risk, Heart Health, Diabetes, Mobility and future clinical offerings.

• Partner with Clinical Product to identify and conduct member research needed to strengthen personas, program experiences, messaging and engagement strategies.

• Design end-to-end member journeys spanning identification, outreach, enrollment, participation, reassessment and long-term adherence.

• Determine the optimal mix, sequencing and messaging across direct mail, email, AI-powered conversational SMS and other digital channels.

• Develop event-based and community activation strategies, including screenings, fitness center and gym events, provider partnerships, community partnerships and other local engagement opportunities.

• Lead activation strategies for health plan, employer and provider pilots, translating each opportunity into a coordinated member engagement plan.

• Partner with Clinical Product to ensure engagement strategies align with program design, member needs and intended clinical outcomes.

• Partner with Health Economics to connect member identification, activation and adherence performance to clinical, utilization and economic outcomes.

• Partner with Marketing Operations on data flows, journey execution, channel orchestration and measurement infrastructure.

• Own the CMS and compliance review path for applicable member outreach, ensuring materials are submitted, approved and filed correctly.

• Define and report success measures across identification, outreach, activation, enrollment, participation, reassessment and adherence.

• Translate pilot results and member insights into scalable playbooks that can support Medicare, commercial, provider and future value-based population health initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of member, patient or consumer engagement experience within health care, population health, wellness or a related field.

• Demonstrated results driving measurable behavior change, including activation, enrollment, participation, adherence or program completion.

• Experience translating clinical, behavioral, claims, risk or engagement data into audience strategies and personalized member journeys.

• Experience developing personas, segmentation approaches and targeting strategies for condition-specific, clinical or population health programs.

• Hands-on experience building multichannel lifecycle journeys across digital and offline channels, such as email, SMS, direct mail, events or community activation.

• Proven experience building new capabilities and programs from the ground up in a fast-moving environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
