We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

Strategic Account Executive – VIC & QLD (New Logo)

Location: Melbourne or Brisbane (Field-based/Hybrid)

Territory: Victoria & Queensland

Travel: Regular monthly interstate travel, plus deal-driven customer visits

About the Role

As a Strategic Account Executive (VIC & QLD), you will take ownership of an expansive, high-potential territory with a focus on hunting and securing net-new logo accounts.

This is a field-based, strategic sales role designed for a proactive builder who thrive on opening new enterprise doors, navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, and establishing foundational partnerships across key commercial and public sector.

You won't be doing it alone. While the role demands an autonomous hunter’s mindset, you will be backed by a strong bench of dedicated technical architects, business value consultants, marketing, and a leadership team that brings deep, proven experience selling Ping solutions into net-new environments. We set our reps up to win with realistic, market-tested quotas and a transparent, highly rewarding compensation plan built to maximise your earning potential as you scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive New Business: Build and execute a territory strategy focused on acquiring strategic net-new enterprise logos across Victoria and Queensland.
• Lead Complex Sales Cycles: Direct multi-threaded enterprise sales engagements from pipeline generation through to commercial negotiation and closing.
• Articulate Business Value: Position our identity and security platforms to C-level executives (CIOs, CISOs, CDOs) and enterprise buying committees.
• Leverage Internal Ecosystems: Orchestrate pre-sales engineering, solution architects, professional services, and executive leadership to advance and de-risk critical deals.
• Co-Sell with Partners: Collaborate closely with global systems integrators, regional channel partners, and alliance ecosystems to uncover and co-deliver strategic opportunities.
• Accurate Pipeline Management: Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and provide predictable, transparent forecasting to regional leadership.
• Customer-to-Product Loop: Act as the voice of the market, translating feedback from prospect interactions directly to our product, marketing, and engineering organizations.

What We Are Looking For

• Enterprise Hunter Pedigree: Extensive, proven track record carrying and exceeding enterprise quota, specifically driven by net-new logo acquisition.
• Complex Deal Mastery: Documented success closing six and seven-figure transactions involving long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Executive Presence: Strong network and confidence engaging C-level stakeholders, translating technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes and risk mitigation.
• Methodology-Driven Execution: Formal grounding in structured value-selling and enterprise account planning frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger).
• Partner Acumen: Experience working alongside global and regional system integrators to identify, validate, and win joint pursuits.
• Location & Travel Flexibility: Based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, with willingness to travel interstate on a regular monthly basis and as required to drive high-impact customer interactions.

What We Offer

• Uncapped Earning Potential: Highly competitive base salary, realistic quota design, and transparent commission structure.
• Experienced Leadership: Direct support from a local management team that has walked in your shoes and knows how to close new logo enterprise accounts in this market.
• Dedicated Deal Support: Comprehensive technical, marketing, and bid management resources to give you an unfair advantage on every pursuit.
• Flexible Work Culture: Autonomous, outcomes-focused environment balancing hybrid work with meaningful on-site customer and team engagement.
