About Primavera Online School

Primavera Online School is an accredited, tuition-free public charter school serving students across Arizona for more than 25 years. We specialize in flexible, student-centered online education designed to meet learners where they are—academically, emotionally, and socially.

We believe every student deserves access to an education that adapts to their life, not the other way around. At Primavera, we support diverse learners, empower families, and partner closely with educators to create personalized learning experiences that drive real outcomes. Our work is grounded in care, accountability, and a deep commitment to helping students succeed—both in school and beyond.

As a fully remote organization, we value clear communication, collaboration, and ownership. You’ll find a mission-driven team that takes its responsibility to students seriously while supporting one another as professionals and humans.

The Team You Will Join

You’ll be part of the Special Services team supporting Primavera Online School, working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, special education teachers, general education staff, and school administrators. This team is responsible for supporting students’ communication development and ensuring they can access their educational programs effectively through appropriate speech-language services and supports.

The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven, and you’ll have opportunities to learn, grow, and support students while partnering across Primavera Online School and StrongMind.

The Difference You Will Make

In this role, your work will directly impact students, teachers, and compliance by supporting the delivery of speech-language services, helping students build communication skills, and ensuring accurate documentation aligned with special education requirements.

You’ll help support learners, ensure compliance, and enhance the student experience, contributing to Primavera’s mission through your work as part of the StrongMind team.

A Typical Day Looks Like

While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to:

• Provide individual or small-group speech-language therapy sessions based on plans developed by the supervising SLP
• Collect and document student performance data and maintain therapy logs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Prepare therapy materials, visual supports, and assistive communication tools to support student learning
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP, teachers, and support staff to reinforce communication strategies across learning environments
• Utilize documentation systems, AAC tools, and school-based platforms to track progress and manage caseload responsibilities
• This position requires availability to work core business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time, Monday through Friday.
• Must be available to work in person for approximately six weeks each year to support Arizona state testing, including travel to assigned testing locations.

This role balances structure, collaboration, and execution and is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting students, managing details, communicating clearly, and working with purpose.

Your Expertise Includes

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
• Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services
• Valid Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP as required by Arizona law

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience working with school-aged children
• Knowledge of special education processes and IEP service delivery
• Experience supporting AAC devices and communication supports

Our Commitment to Inclusion & Belonging

At Primavera Online School, we serve a richly diverse student population—and we believe our team should reflect that same diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace where all team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute their best work. Diverse ideas strengthen our school, improve outcomes for students, and help us better serve the families and communities who rely on us.

All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, and we strive to create an environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging and purpose.

How We’ll Take Care of You

We believe that supporting our team members is essential to supporting our students. At Primavera, care, balance, and well-being are part of how we operate—not extras.

Our commitment to you includes:

• A competitive total compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits
• Well-being support that fits real life—from virtual wellness programs and wellness coaching to flexible work options for select roles
• Generous PTO options, including unlimited PTO for exempt roles and “life happens” days when flexibility is needed
• A fully paid holiday week off at Christmas to rest, reset, and recharge
• Recognition and rewards that celebrate birthdays, meaningful milestones, and the important work you do for students and families
• Quarterly Town Halls to keep communication transparent, aligned, and human
• Annual events and traditions that help us stay connected as a remote school community

We’re intentional about creating a workplace where people feel supported, respected, and proud of the impact they make—every day.
