At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

Why would you love this job?

The Redis Cloud Operations team is hiring for a Site Reliability Engineer role, offering you the chance to work on large-scale systems and support our valued customers. You'll operate state-of-the-art products using the most cutting-edge and best-in-class SRE tools. In this global role, you'll participate in the monitoring, operation, and management of a Redis managed service at one of the world’s largest cloud providers. We’re looking for highly motivated team players with a keen attention to detail and substantial experience working in intense production environments. If you have a passion for tackling technical challenges on a global scale, this position is perfect for you.

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage production incidents impacting Redis Enterprise clusters in Azure cloud

• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, driving root cause analysis and resolution

• Partner with R&D and Product teams to resolve bugs, influence product improvements through operational insights, and drive long-term reliability enhancements

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation in a global team (follow-the-sun model)

• Design and develop code-driven automation tools, internal platforms, and data workflows leveraging cloud services and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude) to streamline operations, enhance incident analysis, and improve visibility into production systems.

• Build and maintain services to enhance incident management, reporting, and fleet-level insights.

• Enhance observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor) by building AI-driven systems for data enrichment, anomaly detection, and automated troubleshooting.

• Continuously enhance incident response processes and overall system reliability at scale

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 4+ years in SRE, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering

• Proven experience troubleshooting production systems at scale, including hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Strong Linux/Unix systems knowledge

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP)

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Azure Data Explorer) and analyzing telemetry data using KQL.

• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and Bash; experience with C# is a plus

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation, improve automation workflows, and enhance operational tooling.

• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD platforms (Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps)

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for large-scale distributed systems

• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable automation solutions in a production environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Redis or other NoSQL databases

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)

• Cloud and Linux certifications

• Experience with C# and other programming languages.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., Sovereign Cloud)
