About the Role
A US-based CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to handle the preparation of business and trust returns for its client portfolio. This role focuses primarily on Form 1120-S (S-Corporation), Form 1065 (Partnership), and Form 1041 (Trust and Estate) returns. - Review source documents, financial statements, and prior-year returns to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify missing information and follow up with clients or internal staff to obtain required documentation

- Meet internal preparation deadlines and manage a queue of returns simultaneously during peak periods
- Maintain organized, complete workpapers for each return prepared
- Respond to reviewer feedback promptly and make corrections as directed
- Stay current with changes to tax law affecting S-Corporations, partnerships, and trusts and estates
