About RocketAMS
RocketAMS is an Australian e-commerce agency started by former Amazon team members. We help brands grow on Amazon. Our team works fully remote across Australia and the Philippines.
About the role
You’ll lead a small team (a “pod”) of Account Specialists who manage our clients’ Amazon accounts. Your job is to help them do their best work: coaching, giving feedback, checking quality, and keeping the pod running smoothly.
You bring the leadership skills. We’ll teach you Amazon.
What you’ll do
- Run the pod’s weekly routine: 1:1s, stand-ups, and team meetings
- Coach your team through weekly 1:1s and clear, honest feedback
- Run performance conversations, and raise issues early with evidence
- Check client work for quality before it goes out
- Plan team workload, review timesheets, and arrange leave cover
- Train new Account Specialists from start to finish
- Manage one to two client accounts yourself
Your first 90 days
- Days 1 to 30, learn: learn Amazon basics and how we work. Shadow a Pod Lead for a full week and take on your first client account
- Days 31 to 60, support: check your pod’s work, answer team questions, run stand-ups, and co-run 1:1s
- Days 61 to 90, lead: run the pod’s weekly routine and 1:1s on your own, and lead your first performance conversation with support
What we’re looking for
- Experience managing a team, ideally a remote team
- Proof you’ve grown or improved a team, process, or function
- Experience running performance conversations
- A coaching style that’s supportive but firm. You can tell when someone needs training and when they need to put in more effort, and you act on both
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- You learn new things quickly
- Strong written and spoken English
- Available to work 07:00 to 16:00 Manila time
Pay and growth
- AUD 1,250 a month to start
- Rises to AUD 1,350 a month once you’re signed off as Pod Lead (usually within six months)
- Fully remote, with structured training and a clear path to Pod Lead
Our hiring process
- Application review
- Screening call
- Interview
- Trial task (for example, planning a pod’s week and a role-play performance conversation)
- Final interview
