Rockstar is rebuilding the infrastructure for employability by collapsing the cost of hiring. For decades, the high cost of recruiting meant that only companies with big brands or deep pockets could reliably find the talent needed to build winning teams. By blending GenAI with human judgment, Rockstar cuts the cost of recruiting by over 90%, suddenly making it easy for every employer to get in the game. When every company can compete, the market changes. Candidates have more options and employers can compete, and win, on what actually matters. Rockstar is laying the foundation for an employment system that works, one where it’s easy for wonderful companies to build winning teams, and where every single person has the opportunity to build an extraordinary career.
About the Role
Rockstar is looking for a hungry, high-potential Growth Associate to help run its go-to-market engine. This is a part-time role requiring approximately 10–15 hours per week. Rockstar is looking for someone who can manage their time effectively, work independently, and consistently deliver results within that commitment. The job is to take ownership of existing growth initiatives, from LinkedIn outreach to reactivation campaigns, and turn them into repeatable systems that consistently generate business. Rockstar is open to folks from a variety of backgrounds and will teach the platform, processes, and tools. What matters most is how the candidate thinks, how quickly they learn, and what they do when given ownership of a problem.
What You’ll Do
Own Customer Acquisition
- Run LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns, from prospecting and connection requests to follow-ups and ongoing engagement
- Manage the prospect pipeline and ensure opportunities are tracked and followed through
Own Reactivation Channels
- Run campaigns to re-engage existing and past clients and uncover business opportunities
- Execute repeatable processes that turn client relationships into a consistent source of business
Who You Are
- Hungry and driven: You want to do great work, take on responsibility, and see the results of your efforts. You are willing to put in the work, including the unglamorous parts.
- Smart and resourceful: You learn quickly, think critically, and can figure things out even when there’s no obvious answer.
- Analytical and curious: You want to understand why something works, not just whether it does. You notice patterns, ask good questions, and look for ways to improve.
- Organized and reliable: You can juggle recurring responsibilities, manage details, and make sure important things don’t slip through the cracks.
- A strong communicator: You can write clearly and communicate proactively.
You don’t need prior experience in growth, sales, or marketing. Rockstar is open to candidates from any background and cares much more about potential, work ethic, and ability to learn than resume.
What Rockstar Is Looking For
- 1–3 years of work experience. Exposure to growth, sales, marketing, or business development is a plus but is not required.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to write clear, engaging, and natural-sounding messages.
- Availability for some overlap with US Eastern Time (EST) to coordinate with the team and support time-sensitive growth activities.
What You’ll Gain
- Direct exposure to how an early-stage startup builds its GTM engine
- Meaningful ownership over initiatives that directly contribute to Rockstar’s growth
- The opportunity to work closely with Rockstar’s leadership and learn through hands-on problem-solving
- Room to grow into greater responsibility as Rockstar expands
