Join a nationwide virtual practice transforming mental healthcare for older adults. Sailor Health is on a mission to empower happier, healthier aging. Through Medicare-covered therapy, dedicated care navigation, and healthcare advocacy, we help older adults navigate grief, loss, isolation, and life's hardest transitions with more ease and peace of mind.

Our model is built around their needs and yours:

• Wraparound patient support: Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates handle what falls outside the therapy sessions, so your work stays clinical.

• A real team, not a login: Dedicated Clinical Quality Leads provide ongoing consultation, and a responsive provider support team answers questions in real time.

• Scale with reach: We serve patients across all 50 states, with strong organic demand and a steady referral pipeline.

Location: Fully remote | Schedule: You set it, 7 days a week available

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities for independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) on a flexible, fee-for-service basis. Start at 15 hours per week (1099) or 25 hours per week (W2) and build from there.

• You're never on your own. A dedicated clinical lead, real-time admin support, and a team that has your back — our providers say it's the most supported they've ever felt in telehealth.

• We fill your schedule. Tell us your availability and we match you with the right patients. No marketing, no chasing referrals. Most clinicians reach a full caseload within weeks.

• Your hours, your call. Set your own schedule across 7 days a week. No on-call. No evenings required.

• Work from home. Modern telehealth tools and an AI documentation assistant so you can focus on patients, not paperwork.

• Grow with us. Free CEUs, geriatric-focused training, and clinical consultation from experienced directors.

• Competitive pay. 1099 clinicians receive competitive per-session rates as full cash compensation.

• Benefits for W2 clinicians (25+ hrs/week). Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer matching.

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting

• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team

• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools

• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations

• You're mission-aligned. You find real meaning in working with patients through grief, life transitions, and late-life challenges.

• You know this population. Whether you're later in your own career or have built your practice around older adults, this is work you've chosen.

• You want a team. Not a solo clinician handed a login and wished luck.

• You value autonomy with support. You run your own clinical practice and want infrastructure behind it, not oversight on top of it.

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent

• Licensed in New York

• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy

• Experience working with older adults, seniors, or geriatric populations preferred.

• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records

• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way

If you're a dedicated therapist looking for flexibility, genuine support, and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of older adults, Sailor Health could be the perfect fit. Our recruiting team will guide you through the process every step of the way.
