Work Your Way:
At Spreetail, we believe in empowering our employees to work in the way that suits them best through our Work Your Way approach. Each team member has the flexibility to choose where they work most effectively each week—whether that's from home, a coffee shop, or the office. While flexibility is key, we also value the power of in-person connection. That’s why we bring our corporate team together in Lincoln each quarter for a week of intentional collaboration, team building, community engagement, and our All-Hands meeting. It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom to work your way, with meaningful opportunities to connect and grow together. Please scroll to the bottom of the job posting to confirm that your state qualifies for the Work Your Way program.

Spreetail is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to help power our rapidly scaling Marketplace Fulfillment business, one of the company’s highest-growth and most strategic areas. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketplace Fulfillment Finance, this role sits at the center of decision-making—partnering closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape strategy, influence investments, and drive profitable growth. You’ll own complex analyses, forecasting, and financial models that bring clarity to fast-moving initiatives, while elevating financial transparency and rigor across the organization. This is a highly visible role for a self-directed, analytically strong leader who thrives in ambiguity, builds scalable solutions, and delivers insights that directly inform executive decisions in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

How you will achieve success:
Network Spend Ownership: Serve as the single accountable owner of ~$29M/year in addressable spend across all 8 FC buildings (~$10M pallets and corrugate, ~$17M business services, ~$2M supplies). Strategic RFP Execution: Lead the Q1 2027 pallet RFP across primary partners (KAMPS, 48forty, and emerging alternatives) to secure pallets and corrugate at the lowest total net cost. Carrier S&OP & Credit Recovery: Establish S&OP-driven pallet demand forecasts and operationalize pallet return, regrade, and credit recovery programs with major carrier partners (FedEx, Roadie). On-Site Team Leadership & Kanban Design: Directly lead on-site non-inventory hourly associates across the network who receive, stage, and replenish materials; design and implement lean kanban staging to eliminate fulfillment downtime. Vendor Consolidation & Services Procurement: Negotiate master service agreements, consolidate redundant vendors, enforce rigorous SLA performance across ~$17M in business services, and streamline standard operating ordering flows for facility supplies and maintenance buys. Systems, Approvals & Governance: Own procurement systems and operational controls (vendor onboarding, invoice reconciliation, and approval routing workflows), delivering monthly savings scorecard KPIs to executive leadership.
