We're looking for an experienced PHP/Symfony backend engineer to join our team.
We're open to both strong mid-level and senior engineers. What matters most to us is your ability to solve problems, take ownership of your work, and communicate well with others.
You'll work on a live SaaS product, develop new features, improve existing systems, and help keep our platform fast and reliable.
Develop and maintain backend features, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
Improve existing PHP/Symfony code to make it easier to maintain and extend.
Investigate performance issues and optimize database queries.

Work closely with other engineers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to deliver reliable solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Symfony in production applications.
Good understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Experience developing REST APIs and working with external services.
Solid knowledge of OOP, application design, and clean coding practices.

Independent: You can organize your work, make sound technical decisions, and take responsibility for results.

AI-assisted: You're comfortable using AI coding tools and know how to review and verify what they produce.
A strong communicator: You explain your ideas clearly, discuss different approaches, give and accept constructive feedback.
Reliable: You follow through on commitments and care about delivering quality work.
Experience with high-load systems and performance optimization.
Knowledge of message queues and asynchronous processing.
Experience optimizing SQL queries and working with large databases.
Experience with automated testing, particularly Codeception or PHPUnit.
Experience with Redis, Docker, or high-availability systems.
Experience with Go.
Experience with Temporal or other durable workflow engines.
Experience with LLM APIs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
