Product Marketing Manager

About Thatch

For most people, health insurance is something that happens to them: a plan chosen by someone else, with little room to fit their life. Thatch is changing that. We help companies give every employee a real healthcare budget instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, so people can choose the coverage and care that works for them, and employers get predictable costs they can control.

It’s a simple idea, but making it real means solving hard problems across healthcare, payments, and technology, and we’re just getting started. We look for people who like solving complex problems, use good judgment, and are comfortable working through ambiguity. People here care deeply about our customers, take real responsibility for what gets built, and are driven by doing work that matters.

Marketing shapes how the world understands Thatch and why it matters. We turn complex healthcare products into clear, compelling stories that help employers and brokers understand our value and drive growth.

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to sharpen how we position Thatch and expand our presence in the mid-market and enterprise segments. You'll shape our go-to-market strategy, partner closely with Product, Sales, and Growth, and own the messaging, launches, and campaigns that drive adoption and revenue.

What you'll do

• Own Thatch's positioning and messaging across employer and broker segments, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise growth.
• Shape go-to-market strategy and lead product launches, aligning Product, Sales, and Growth around clear priorities and execution.
• Build compelling narratives and enablement materials that help brokers and benefits consultants confidently recommend Thatch.
• Lead quarterly segment-focused campaigns in partnership with Growth, translating customer insights into demand and revenue opportunities.
• Develop competitive intelligence, customer research, and market insights to inform positioning and GTM decisions.
• Measure how messaging performs across customer segments, sales conversations, and advisor channels, refining our approach based on results.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and drive initiatives forward with a high degree of ownership.

What we're looking for

• A strong background in B2B product marketing, with a track record of owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for complex products.
• Proven ability to develop and execute GTM strategies for mid-market or enterprise customers.
• Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how product marketing contributes to pipeline, adoption, and revenue.
• A track record of building sales enablement programs and translating complex products into clear, differentiated messaging.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, grounded in customer research and market insights.
• Comfortable operating independently, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Experience that stands out

• Healthcare, fintech, benefits, or another regulated industry.
• Experience working with brokers, consultants, or partner-led distribution.
• Marketing multi-sided products to different customer segments.
• Customer research, win/loss analysis, and competitive intelligence.
• Using AI to improve research, messaging, or marketing workflows.

What to expect

We aim to keep the process thoughtful, rigorous, and efficient. Most candidates complete it within three weeks. You can expect:

• Initial conversation with a recruiter.
• Hiring manager interview.
• Live product marketing case study.
• Conversations with members of the team.
• Final conversation with our leadership team.

Estimated Compensation Range$160,000—$210,000 USD
