TOMRA is a global leader in recycling and circular economy solutions. Founded in 1972, we design and deliver technology that helps keep valuable materials in circulation and reduces waste worldwide. With over 5,500 employees globally and operations in 60+ markets, TOMRA is now entering a major growth phase in the UK ahead of the planned Deposit Return Scheme launch in 2027.
This is a unique opportunity to join the UK organisation as it scales and help build the teams that will support the next generation of recycling infrastructure.
As a Field Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting TOMRA’s mission to transform the way the world recycles—while always putting safety first. Whether working with equipment, customers, or travelling between sites, you’ll operate in a safety-focused environment where the wellbeing of our people and customers is a top priority.
You’ll help keep our technology running smoothly by maintaining, repairing, and optimising equipment at customer sites. This is a hands-on, early-career role with a mix of planned and reactive work, offering variety, autonomy, and strong opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive team environment. You’ll be a key part of delivering a great customer experience while building your technical expertise.
As the UK prepares for the introduction of the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS), TOMRA is entering an exciting growth phase and we're now looking for Field Service Engineers across London and the South East.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Field Engineer, no two days are the same. You'll spend your time supporting customers, troubleshooting equipment, carrying out maintenance, and helping install new recycling technology. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you'll build your technical expertise while playing a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience and ensuring our equipment operates safely and reliably.
