Senior Sales Manager & Team Lead, EMEA (m/f/x)

UP42 was founded in 2019 with a clear purpose: to transform how organizations order, access, and analyze Earth observation data. Our platform brings together the world's leading geospatial providers, and offers a single touchpoint to access, manage, and process data at scale. From vegetation management and infrastructure monitoring to disaster response, UP42 helps organizations across industries find solutions to complex problems through Earth observation. Our expert support team and detailed documentation guide our users through every step. Since July 2025, UP42 has been a part of Neo Space Group.

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager & Team Lead, EMEA  (m/f/x) to join our Sales team in Berlin (hybrid) or remotely in Germany. Our EMEA team is growing into large European enterprises, and our enterprise go-to-market is still maturing. In this role you sell to those enterprises yourself, and you coach our Sales Managers in the region. Most of your results will come from your own sales, and you will work closely with Marketing and Customer Success teams.

What you will do:

• Drive strategic pipeline and account growth with large European enterprises in energy, finance, insurance and infrastructure.

• Win and grow strategic enterprise opportunities with our Earth Observation platform.

• Build relationships with some of Europe's largest enterprise accounts.

• Deliver your annual sales targets with a healthy and repeatable enterprise pipeline.

• Coach and mentor your team members, and help them capture and manage complex enterprise opportunities.

• Improve deal quality, deal progression and forecasting across the EMEA team.

• Strengthen enterprise selling discipline as our enterprise go-to-market matures.

Here is a good summary of what we are looking for:

• Significant years of sales experience within the geospatial industry, including Earth observation, remote sensing, GIS platform sales, satellite imagery, LiDAR, or adjacent technologies

• Proven success selling data and/or platforms into enterprise customers, including managing long sales cycles and complex buying committees

• Enterprise sales experience in the European market

• Strong track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing high-value deals while carrying and consistently achieving quota

• Willingness to act as player-coach and to mentor others

• Ability to guide and develop experienced sellers

• Track record of planning pipeline and delivering deals in line with forecast

• Knowledge of remote sensing and geospatial markets in Europe, with vertical expertise in energy, finance, insurance or infrastructure

Bonus points if you bring:

• Team management experience

Let us tell you why UP42 is a good choice:

• Let's disrupt the industry: You get the chance to shape the state-of-the-art geospatial processing platform and create a completely new planetary perspective.

• Let's stay flexible: We practice a hybrid working model - you can choose when to work from the comfort of your home or join your colleagues in our modern office in the heart of Kreuzberg, or even from a global place of your choice up to 90 days per year.

• Let's win as a team: We're an inspiring international team working in a fun and productive environment.

• Let's be fair: We offer a competitive salary package and other perks such as wellbeing initiatives, sponsored fitness subscriptions, educational budget for your personal development and public transportation discount - just to name a few.

• Let's enjoy the good side of life: Gather in regular team events as well as our global company parties twice a year.

• Let's think outside of the box: There are challenges and enough space for creativity and taking ownership.
