Director of Search and Client Delivery

What makes a great company? Is it the products it produces, its reputation, its culture? At Victorious, we know it’s our people.

Our people-first ethos permeates every aspect of our company, from practicing radical integrity to empowering each other to do our best work. This approach attracts the sharpest minds in the industry and creates a culture that places empathy and kindness squarely in the middle of our commitment to rigorous methodologies. These values ennoble our team with a passion and loyalty that move us toward the long horizon of sustainable success — for our customers, and for us.

The Director of Search and Client Delivery leads Victorious’s SEO and content service teams day to day. This role manages the people doing the work, owns the quality of every search deliverable, balances team capacity against account demand, and builds the workflows and processes that let the team deliver consistently as we grow.

The Director also plays a key client-facing role with enterprise accounts, translating complex SEO into clear marketing outcomes and building confidence in high-stakes conversations.

The Director works alongside the Principal, Search Strategy, who sets the vision for search innovation. Together, they turn new SEO and AI search strategies into services the team can deliver and lead the continuing education that keeps the team current as search evolves.

Quality Assurance:

• Own the quality standards for all search deliverables, aligned to Victorious’s search methodology.

• Design and run QA processes, such as review checklists, peer review, and spot audits, that catch issues before work reaches clients.

• Review a sample of deliverables across accounts on a regular cadence and use the findings to coach individuals and refine standards.

• Track recurring quality issues and fix their root causes through templates and process changes, feeding skill gaps into the team’s education roadmap.

Capacity Management:

• Forecast team capacity against current account load, upcoming onboardings, and the sales pipeline, and flag gaps to leadership early.

• Assign and rebalance account coverage so workloads stay sustainable and client commitments are met on time.

• Monitor utilization and time-tracking data to spot over- and under-allocation across the team.

• Partner with Sales and Account Management on scoping so new work is resourced realistically before it’s sold.

• Map service workflows end to end and identify bottlenecks, handoff gaps, and redundant steps.

• Build and maintain the SOPs, templates, and tools that let the team deliver consistently at scale.

• Partner with Operations on project management and time-tracking systems so they reflect how the team actually works.

• Measure the impact of process changes on turnaround time, quality, and profitability.
