Hands-on Development: Contribute directly to the development of key platform features and components as an individual contributor, ensuring alignment with overall project goals. Leadership in Design: Lead the end-to-end design and development of advanced healthcare analytics products, ensuring they are insightful, intuitive, scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing. Architect Healthcare Analytics Solutions: Architect and implement modern analytics, ML and AI applications that support mission-critical business decision-making, workflows and customer experiences. Team Enablement and Prioritization: Clearly communicate priorities and expectations to the team, ensuring they have the support and resources to complete their work effectively. Quality Ownership: Take full ownership of the quality of all team-delivered features, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements with well-thought-out designs. Drive Architectural Innovation: Identify gaps or areas for improvement in existing patterns. Promote a culture of experimentation and innovation by encouraging the exploration of new technologies, tools, and methodologies that can drive competitive advantages. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison for executive stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment between engineering and business strategies. Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks early in the development lifecycle and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects remain on track and within scope. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to define project scope, assess feasibility, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Technical Mentorship: Act as a senior technical resource, providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineering teams, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor emerging healthcare technologies and trends, recommending cutting-edge solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar field, or a related field, or equivalent significant industry experience. 8+ years of experience in software engineering and/or data engineering within a software product company, with a focus on developing insightful, scalable, high-performance analytics applications and systems. Extensive experience architecting, building and delivering complex, high-performance SaaS solutions deployed in cloud environments (AWS or similar) using microservices and serverless architectures. 5+ years of hands-on experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in developing products for healthcare analytics products. 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering applications with significant responsibility across both frontend, backend and data platform development. Proficient in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python (preferred), with experience in building and maintaining high volume production-grade solutions. Solid understanding of database systems and data warehouses: relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), NoSQL, Snowflake and Redshift. Proven expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies. Hands-on experience with data analytics, AI/ML integrations, generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted software development tools. Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative, practical solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
