
Accountabilities:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and maintaining advanced systems that support cybersecurity solutions for operational technology environments. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop reliable, efficient, and scalable products while applying strong systems engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle. Design and implement efficient workflows for building artifacts, managing dependencies, and delivering reliable software products. Support the development and deployment of lightweight network sensor applications designed for OT and ICS environments. Apply systems engineering principles across concept development, validation, delivery, and production support phases. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to create cohesive solutions aligned with technical standards and best practices. Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and incident response activities when required. Develop and maintain engineering solutions covering deployment processes, testing, documentation, integration, and compliance requirements. Ensure long-term maintainability, stability, and performance of deployed systems. Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry best practices. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity, Linux environments, and modern infrastructure technologies. You should be comfortable working across software, hardware, networking, and deployment challenges while collaborating with technical teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions. 5+ years of experience in system design, development, build, and integration. Professional experience in cybersecurity environments, with a strong understanding of security principles. Extensive Linux expertise, including package management, system configuration, kernel tuning, and systemd service management. Experience compiling, packaging, and maintaining software from source code. Strong knowledge of configuration management concepts and tools. Experience with artifact management platforms and package ecosystems such as Linux packages, Cargo, Go build, npm, Maven, and Gradle. Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML systems in constrained or on-premise environments. Experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably GitHub Actions. Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. Experience managing NGINX ingress configurations within Kubernetes environments. Strong scripting abilities with Python, Bash, and Makefile. Experience with modern programming languages, preferably Rust. Solid understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure. Benefits: Competitive salary of approximately $165,000.
