The work involves updating outdated dependencies, upgrading frameworks and libraries, expanding unit test coverage, and ensuring the application remains stable and functional during an extended operational period.

About the Role
The client is maintaining an application that was originally planned for decommission but now needs to remain operational longer than anticipated. The work is split roughly equally between backend and frontend, with slightly more backend code present in this application. Engineers will work similarly to existing teams supporting other repositories at the client.
